How to talk about people who use drugs

1.jpg

In partnership with the Winnipeg Peer Working Group of the Manitoba Harm Reduction Network, I created a document for the media to help them frame the way they talk about people who use drugs when they write about them, as well as a checklist for a stigma free story.

These points are taken from discussions the Peer Working Group had around how they are portrayed by the media ahead of the panel discussion on meth in the media.

You can see both documents here.
